How to Create a Realistic Render of Your Deck

The Deck Builder can generate realistic renders of your deck design, complete with lighting, furniture, and landscaping.

Capturing the Angle

1. Once your deck is built, tap the camera icon.
2. Rotate and position the view to find the perfect angle — the render will capture what's inside the white area (the grayed-out area gets trimmed).

Render Options

Before generating, you can customize the scene:

• Lighting — Choose between different times of day like evening or golden hour.
• Ground — Select a ground style such as grass or gravel.
• Patio Furniture — Add a patio set on the deck.
• Trees — Add surrounding trees to the scene.

Generating the Render

1. Tap Generate Render — it typically takes 30 seconds to a minute.
2. Once complete, you can view the high-resolution render in full.

Requesting Changes

Not happy with the result? You can ask for changes — for example, add a pool, hot tub, more windows on the house, or different furniture. Submit your request and a new image will be regenerated.

Saving Your Renders

• Download — Save the render directly to your device.
• Bookmark — Tap the bookmark icon to save the render to your account. You'll find all your saved renders in the My Photos section.

Render Credits

• Free plans include 2 to 6 free credits per day.
• Additional credits can be purchased if you need more right away.
